The patient is reported with the laboratory personnel who take the request of the doctor, the patient delivers the request for analysis, the laboratory personnel proceed to take the samples, later indicating the day and time of delivery of results and paid the same .
In the case of hospitalized patients, the request is made by the attending physician, who is taken to the laboratory by the nurse in charge and after the samples are taken by laboratory personnel, and then the results are collected. In the case of emergency patients, the same procedure as above is performed.
Currently in the clinic, different types of analysis are performed, among which we can mention the following: hematology, coagulation, clinical chemistry, urine studies, serology, infectious diseases (dengue antigen, HIV, influenza A and B ag) , cardiac markers (CK total and CK MB), drugs of abuse (qualitative), diabetes profile, osteoporosis profile (urinary calcium and blood, alkaline phosphatase), bacteriology, parasitology, cytochemistry of body fluids, spermatobioscopy studies direct, fructose in semen).
To mention some of the analyzes that are not performed are: immunology, torch profile, allergen profile, electrophoresis, gynecological infections, celiac disease, thyroid studies, reproductive profile, adrenal profile, tumor markers, drugs of abuse (quantitatively) therapeutic drugs, antiphospholipid syndrome, neonatal screening profiles, molecular biology and hepatitis profile. Although the patient requests it, the sample is received and sent to a reliable and efficient laboratory that can perform the study.
